Oua·lie /wôlē/ “Land of Beautiful Waters”   I’m a little late but wanted to share travel photos of our (not-so-recent) trip to the Caribbean Island of Nevis. Our sons were 3 and 1, and my husband wanted to go on a trip just the two of us. Me – not so much! I had trepidations about leaving the boys, especially leave the country! And my husband chose the obscure Island of Nevis. Nevis?! Never heard of the place! Nonetheless, I for once was not involved in the vacation planning and also not too excited. But thankfully, PLEASANTLY surprised by the […]

It’s Been a While…

Published June 1, 2017 in Children, Military, Personal, Travel, Uncategorized

Hey friends, Long time no update, I know! Since I was last actively photographing and updating, a lot has gone on in the MB Reese family. First off, we are an Air Force family so it’s only natural that we’ve moved. Twice. We left the Fayetteville, NC area for the deep South, by way of San Antonio, Texas. We spent 6 months living in San Antonio and enjoyed living in a big city, exploring small towns of Texas, and of course – the Tex Mex cuisine. We had a really great time and new it would only be a short […]

My Sweet Max Man

Published January 5, 2013 in Children, Family, Personal

Well, I have been on “maternity leave” from MB Reese Photography for about 4 months now.  And I thought it was about time I finally shared some pictures of who has been taking up all my time: Max!  (Maximus, Max Man, My Man, Crazy Legs, Potato Head, Sweet Potato, the terms of endearment go on and on…) I was blessed with a very easy, smooth, problem-free pregnancy that seemed to have zoomed by.  The only thing that did not zoom by was labor!  Max took his dandy time, did not arrive until 6 days after due date, after 26 hours […]

A Sweet Hiatus

Published August 18, 2012 in Personal

To all of my amazing clients, I will officially be taking a hiatus from photography from now until the end of the year…to have a baby!  I only have a few weeks left of the pregnancy and am so thrilled to meet my baby boy!  I have had to turn down many jobs over the last few weeks and even more OpLove Homecoming sessions because we are getting too close to his birth. Of course, I will not be taking a break from photography entirely, as I will have a new baby model to harass with my camera!  I will […]

The Casey Family

The final photo session that I had during my NOLA visit was with my sister and her family!  William is such a boy and wanted to play in the tree and ride his bike!  But we still got some good candids of him in NOLA City Park…

I recently was asked to the flight line at Pope Field to photograph some of my friends’ deployment reunion.  Homecomings are my favorite pictures to take!  What an awesome day for all of these families after being separated from loved ones for 4 long months.  Thank you for your service!

OpLove: The E Family

Below is a recent OpLove Pre-Deployment Photo Session that I took with Candace and Caleb and their adorable puppy Murph!  Caleb will be leaving soon on his first deployment and we took these photos at Wilson Park on Fort Bragg.  I love the way these photos turned out, and Caleb and Candace are such a cute couple.  But of course, Murph stole the show! As with all of my OpLove photo sessions, I am so happy to be giving back to such deserving families as these two…   To learn more about Operation: Love Reunited, Click Here.  To learn more […]

OpLove: Sabine & Emma

Published June 6, 2012 in Military, Portraits

I did a “While You’re Away” OpLove photo session with Sabine and her sweet puppy Emma.  Sabine’s husband Tim is on a year deployment, but thankfully only has a few months left!  We took these photos at Veterans Memorial Park outside of the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in downtown Fayetteville.  The field of American Flags was the absolute perfect place for these photos. I know Tim will love receiving his photo book of the two ladies in his life!   To learn more about Operation: Love Reunited, Click Here.  To learn more about my participation with OpLove, Click Here.
