North Carolina Anniversary Post

For the first time in five years, I can say that I have lived in the same place for ONE FULL YEAR.  FOUR WHOLE SEASONS.

Well, I am truly glad that my semi-permanent residence has been North Carolina.  It is a really fabulous state, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the last year here.  I love that I live only 2 hours from mountains and 2 hours from the coast.  Not many states have snow skiing and the beach.  There is still so much to see, but I have spent many weekends road-tripping around the state and checking out all it has to offer.  From Asheville to Wilmington, from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Outerbanks.  Charming small towns as well as great outdoor activities!
