Savannah, GA

Published August 10, 2011 in Personal, Travel

After spending a month in New Orleans, my cousin accompanied me on the long road-trip home to North Carolina. On the way, we stopped and stayed a few days in Savannah, GA. Savannah was SO.CUTE. We absolutely loved the city! We stayed in a pet-friendly B&B (Foley House Inn) with my dog Zuli. I absolutely loved all of the squares in town as well as the mossy oaks – which gave a spooky ambiance.  Savannah has so much culture and charm, it is definitely a place I would love to visit again!

Below are some highlights from our weekend.  We had to eat at Paula Dean’s famous restaurant The Lady & Sons – and it did not disappoint!  We had traditional Southern comfort food and it was delicious!  We also toured the Wormsloe Historic Site and drove down the famous oak alley.
